I consider myself an
old-world artist with over 30 years of
traditional jewelry making experience. I
individually create each piece of jewelry with
quality, care, and an appreciation for unique
and timeless designs. In my art nouveau inspired
series of rings, the floral unbroken lines
create a sensual feel that symbolize a softness
and appreciation for the natural world we are
all connected to. Each piece I do gives one the
experience of a personalized work of art. |

allows the work to become rapid, presenting me
with infinite possibilities. I enjoy exploring

I love to collect
beautiful stones and objects from nature to
create my jewelry . My flair for bold statement
pieces is known. I create jewelry with multiple
usage, to be worn alone or with their pendant.
Wirework is my passion and I try to use this
technique in most of my pieces.

My work as a jewelry
maker recreates that excitement on a miniature
scale. I love working with metal because of its
immediacy – each stroke of the hammer changes
its shape forever. Soldering and melting metals
feel like alchemical processes. My favorite
material is sterling silver, which can be
transformed with patinas as well as in shape. A
growing amount of my work incorporated Art Clay,
which is made from reclaimed, recycled silver. |

I have been
pioneering computer electronic " haute tech
couture " and high tech sculpture for over 3
decades. The process of seeking out innovative
precious materials is as much the art process as
is the final 3D piece that evolves from that
search. Moving the collector someplace timeless
has been an on-going theme and goal of the
artwork created. |

I design and
handcraft all of my beaded and wire-wrapped
jewelry. I was inspired to use glass beads
instead of gemstones, after a trip to Venice,
Italy. The Italian glass beads that I use in my
jewelry have gold or silver layered into the
glass, and are exceptionally durable.

My jewelry combines
silver and gold with gemstones. I fabricate
each piece using techniques that include fusing,
forming, and roller printing. I’m inspired by a
visit to the wetlands by San Francisco Bay, a
walk in the redwood forest, a stroll on the
beach, or a trip to a museum. |

My heritage and
varied interests are intricately linked to my
artistic style. I have spent many days and
nights anchored in luminous tropical waters or
wild northern seas, which also influenced my
awareness of the subtle nuances of color that I
attempt to translate into my jewelry.
